We are excited to be partnered with a leading service industry organization in the Greater Columbus area who is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper. The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations while ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. You'll work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and support month-end closing processes. This is a full-time on-site position with an annual salary range starting at $70,000.

- Lead a staff of 5 associates responsible for Payroll, Billing, Accounts Payables and Receivables
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and perform regular account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure timely, accurate processing of weekly payroll, customer billing, and payment of invoices
- Manage Accounts Receivables and Collections to ensure accurate accounting and timely collections
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Support audit preparations and tax filing requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting and/or Management
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership skills with a willingness to learn each role to support staff as needed
- Prior services industry experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
