Nesco Resource is in search of an Electrical Engineering Manager for one of our clients in Naugatuck, CT. This is a hands-on position that requires expertise in electrical design and strong project management experience.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Electrical Engineers.
  • Oversee multiple projects and ensure their completion on time, within budget and meeting technical requirements.
  • Design, develop and improve electro-mechanical systems.
  • Ensure that all electrical engineering work adheres to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain company products for agency approvals.
  • Create and maintain electrical engineering specifications and designs including: PCBA's, wire harnesses, schematic circuit diagrams, panel layouts, cabinet layouts, wiring and termination diagrams and parts lists.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as mechanical engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and commercial teams to ensure integrated project outcomes
Qualifications & Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering; MBA a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering design work.
  • Experience using some of the following tools: Altium, E-plan, Eagle, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other electrical engineering design and specification tools/software.
  • Experience with Machine Vision systems, cameras and image processing, AI usage in image processing and object recognition.
  • Experience with industrial sensors.
  • Experience in automation technology.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and/or structured problem-solving methods.
  • Experience working independently but also enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Must have strong English written/oral communication skills and be comfortable communicating with all levels of management, external customers and vendors.
  • Romanian or German as a second language a plus

Additional Information:

  • Salary range: up to $150K
