Are you a detail-oriented problem-solver with a knack for managing accounts? Our client in Cheshire seeks a Credit Collections Analyst to help drive the success of our team. You will have 2+ years of experience in a fast paced department.  This is a 100% on site position.   
Salary is $25-28/hour   Non-exempt with full benefits

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze accounts for credit worthiness
  • Collect outstanding receivables through calls and emails, assist in resolving disputes
  • Process and maintain credit application paperwork
  • Review credit references by independently validating references provided by the applicant or by using a credit reporting service.
  • Analyze accounts receivable and cash receipt reports.
  • Update customer account information
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations including analyzing tax data and reports to identify potential tax liabilities
  • Maintains client pertinent account details, and schedules follow-up communication.
  • Review credit references by independently validating references provided by the applicant or by using a credit reporting service.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of related experience in accounts receivable preferred, with tax experience
