What You’ll Do Each Day:
- Schedule Management: Create and monitor production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery. Adjust schedules based on material availability and capacity constraints.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with manufacturing, purchasing, and supply chain teams to monitor material flow and production timelines.
- Project Prioritization: Work with Project Managers to prioritize job orders, ensuring resource availability aligns with delivery goals.
- Process Oversight: Lead weekly scheduling meetings to align teams on production priorities and address any potential delays.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, reporting on performance and identifying areas for improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience Required: 3-5+ years in a manufacturing environment with a focus on production planning and scheduling.
- Organizational Strength: Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination.
- Dependability: Reliable on-site attendance and punctuality are essential in this role.
Preferred Skills:
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly address scheduling and resource issues.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with ERP or scheduling software is a plus.
