The results we achieve are highly visible to our leadership team and we are recognized for our work and promoted accordingly.  Netcracker Technology is the leading provider of BSS and OSS solutions to the communications industry and is a subsidiary of NEC Corporation of Japan.Job Summary Netcracker has an immediate full-time opening for a Director of Market Strategy, who will be working alongside the core corporate team across multiple functions such as Corporate Marketing, Press and Analyst Relations, M&A, and Customer and Industry engagement.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team and to have a chance to make an immediate positive impact at the Content Strategy, Marketing, Product Marketing, corporate branding and M&A.As part of the core strategy team based in Waltham, MA the Director of Market Strategy will be responsible for providing solid BSS and/or OSS industry insights and analysis to internal and external customers, engaging with the broader communications industry and telecom/mobile service providers, working closely with industry analysts and supporting the M&A function. Internally you will interact closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Corporate Branding, and Delivery organizations engaged closely with communications service providers across the globe to deliver innovative products and services.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Content Strategy
Working closely with SVP Strategy to define and shape content strategy which includes whitepaper, website content, Insight blogs, analyst reports, and corporate strategy around growth opportunities and markets. The selected candidate will identify and evaluate market segments, industry trends, and technology trends primarily related to enterprise applications used by Communications Service ProvidersAnalysts and Press
Working closely with SVP Strategy to engage closely with leading industry analysts, press and publications to provide insights into Netcracker’s capabilities and success. Creating and shaping content for analysts’ briefings and reports. Briefing leading press and industry publications on a diverse set of topics from technology, to business and industry insights.Strategic Marketing
Working closely with field and corporate marketing to fine-tune messaging, support speaking engagements at trade shows and events.  Working closely with SVP of Strategy and product management/marketing to deliver customer briefing and engaging with the CxO and executive levels within Netcracker’s customer based in support of business development, sales meeting, and technology and product briefings.Corporate Branding
Work with SVP Strategy to manage corporate branding strategy across web, collateral, social networking and other outbound mediums to project uniform brand identity across all touchpoints such as banners, ads, social media, etc.Product Marketing
Lead the creation of sales enablement tools that will drive sales across the telecommunications and cable vertical segments in the BSS/OSS market.  The selected candidate will become the expert in understanding how CSPs evaluate solutions for purchase. The selected candidate will work with the Product Management team and help transfer knowledge to the sales organization to make them more effective in positioning and selling Netcracker solutions and services.Partner Marketing
Lead marketing initiatives with Netcracker’s partners globally with webinars, events (physical or virtual), podcast etc. Select candidate will also lead the creation of joint marketing collaterals (white papers, brochures, sales support materials, etc) with key partner.Social Media & SEO
Working closely with Strategy on social media and SEO strategyExperienced & Requirements:10-15 years experience in comparable Strategy, Research & Analysis (industry analyst), or Product management/marketing role.A solid understanding of the communications industry, with emphasis on any or most of the following segments: Billing, CRM, OSS, Assurance, and Enterprise applications (ERP, etc).Excellent public speaker and presenterAbility to write and copy-edit technical documentsBachelor’s degree in technology-related subjects, MBA would be preferable.Background and experience in presenting, engaging and working with CxO and executive levelsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced cross-functional team environmentBackground in working in a matrixed and collaborative organizational setupStrategic thinking while executing with great attention to detail.Ability to travel 20-30% of time, sometimes at very short noticeEducationBachelor's degree in a related fieldWho is Netcracker Technology?We are a forward-looking software company, offering mission-critical solutions to service providers around the globe.
