Production Associate
Nesco Resource, a leading provider of staffing solutions, is actively seeking a motivated and reliable Production Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment. This is an immediate opening for a day shift position with potential overtime opportunities.
Shift Schedule:
- Day Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday
- Overtime: Some Friday mornings as required by production demands
Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of products, ensuring proper movement and positioning.
- Safely load and unload products into kilns, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of mixes used in the formation of grinding tools, adhering to precise instructions and measurements.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and maintain a consistent workflow.
- Adhere to quality control standards by inspecting products for defects and reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
- Follow company policies and safety regulations to ensure a secure and productive workplace.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a punctual attendance record.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and tasks.
- Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety protocols.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
