Registered Nurse, First Assistant (RNFA)

Could you be our next RNFA - Registered Nurse, First Assist at Riddle Hospital? $10,000 Sign On Bonus Currently being offered for this position Why work as an RNFA: * Make an Impact Our RNFA's are highly respected for their role in the Operating Room As an RNFA, you would serve as the Surgical First Assistant by directly assisting the surgeon with positioning, prepping and draping the patient, controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure, suturing, mobilizing tissue, and directing other surgical staff. Specialties include but are not limited to: General, Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, etc. * Riddle Operating Room Highlights include: * Riddle is recognized in the following Common Adult Procedures and Conditions of care: Colon Cancer surgery and Hip & Knee Replacement. Education: 1. RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred. 2. Completion of a recognized RNFA Program (proof of verification required). We will consider new-to-practice RNFA's Licensures/Certifications: 1. PA RN license. 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required. 3. ACLS required. 4. CNOR Certification.
