We are in search of a Mail Services Specialist to join our team in Redmond, WA. As a Mail Services Specialist, your primary role will be to ensure the efficient processing and dispatch of mail, manage outgoing shipments, and maintain accurate tracking records. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:


• Oversee the processing of outgoing shipments using various postal and courier services.

• Utilize a mailing system for outbound shipments and tracking.

• Take and process passport photos as part of the client services.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.

• Maintain a precise daily schedule for the delivery of mail, packages, copy products, and stationery.

• Stock and replenish mail and postage supplies as necessary.

• Audit delivered items with delivery invoices and approve or reject deliveries based on inspections.

• Ensure all items are shipped and/or delivered in a timely manner, and that consignees are advised of any next-day deliveries.

• Safeguard deliveries from damage and tampering.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for various tasks and operations.

• Proven experience in mail services or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
• Knowledge of operations and procedures in mail services
• Ability to handle materials and machinery relevant to mail services
• Experience with handling invoices and auditing
• Familiarity with warehouse management and shipping functions
• Ability to answer inbound calls and handle correspondence professionally
• Proficient in monitoring tools and production practices
• Experience in liaising with vendors
• Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks
• Retail experience would be beneficial
• Experience in scanning documents and handling deliveries
• Excellent training skills
• Good understanding of policies related to mail services
• Experience with online systems and tools.
