About the Role:

Are you a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a difference in a charming and supportive school environment? Soliant Education is looking for a dedicated SLP to join our team in Cooperstown, NY. This opportunity offers the flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours throughout the full school year on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language disorders.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students to enhance their munication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outes.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal-setting.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
