About the Role:
Are you a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a difference in a charming and supportive school environment? Soliant Education is looking for a dedicated SLP to join our team in Cooperstown, NY. This opportunity offers the flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours throughout the full school year on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language disorders.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students to enhance their communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal-setting.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
