  • Manage the LEED process when necessary.

  • Work in various manufacturers' VRF software.

  • Work in Energy Pro and complete T-24 documentation.

  • Work up construction cost estimates.

  • Design temperature controls requirements, including Sequence of Operations.

  • Estimate design budgets and fees.

  • Work with, teach, lead, and ultimately earn the respect of other employees.

  • Market our client's engineering services.

  • Organize and direct in-house and outside office resources to meet deliverable schedules.

Position Requirements
  • A BSME from an ABET-accredited school with an above-average GPA.
    Advanced degrees in Business or Engineering are a plus.

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer in California, or the ability to quickly obtain through reciprocity.

  • Five (5) plus years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.

  • Professionalism in attitude, actions, and appearance.

  • Self-confidence without arrogance.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience with healthcare (OSHPD), education (DSA), high-rise projects, industrial, residential, and hospitality projects.

  • Not necessary but a plus: Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, commissioning (Cx) work, and LEED accreditation.

  • A history of continuing education and active professional society memberships.

  • A willingness to be involved in the community.

  • Become fluent in doing business in the State of California and financial management.

  • Convince our client of the desire to see their engineering team succeed.
