Job Details:

  • Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, Contract
  • Pay Rate: $28 per hour
  • Contract Term: 2024-2025 Academic Year

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the collection of behavioral and educational data under the direction of the Special Education Teacher or Behavior Supervisor.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while interacting with students, staff, and school leadership.
  • Be reliable and maintain consistent attendance to ensure the classroom runs smoothly.
  • Work with specialists to promote school readiness, academic skills, and social development during activities and recess.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience working with students with behavioral challenges in an educational environment.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish or ASL (American Sign Language), are highly preferred.
