This advanced manufacturer specializes in producing high quality products for the automotive industry. Due to the growth in their business, they are looking to hire a Quality Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This individual will enjoy the utmost job stability, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to have success and career growth. 

The current opening is for a Quality Engineer.  Main duties include:
Ensure Company products conform to established quality requirements
Perform quality audits, inspections, and test activities
Formulate procedures, specifications, and standards for products and processes
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments
Perform audits to suppliers on performance and quality issues
Maintain customer and supplier portals as required
Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions
Utilize quality techniques such as 5P, 5 why’s, and 8D

Qualifications include:
B.S. degree in engineering is highly preferred
Prior work experience in automotive manufacturing
Prior work experience with IATF or TS 16949 quality management system
Must have experience working directly with Customers
Excellent problem-solving ability, strong organizational skills
Ability to read calipers, micrometers, standards, and blueprints
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
