Job Description

Pay: $18-$24/hr based on experience and shift

Openings across all 3 shifts due to rapid business growth

1st shift: 7am-3:30pm

2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm

3rd shift: 10:30pm-7:30am

We are seeking Water Jet Machine Operators with proficiency in operating water jet machines and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of various materials properties and understand how to adjust water jet settings accordingly. The role requires physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate water jet machines efficiently and safely.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
• Adjust water jet settings based on material properties.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of water jet machines.
• Ensure precision and quality in all produced components.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating water jet machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of materials properties and water jet settings.
• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of water jet machines.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in manufacturing as a CNC operator or water jet operator.

Work Environment

This position is based in a medium-sized machine shop in Westminster, with around 30 full-time employees. The shop produces precision components for major OEMs and other companies, specializing in high-volume production. The work environment is clean for a machine shop, with most jobs being similar daily but with slight variations. Available shifts include 1st (7am-3:30pm), 2nd (3:00pm-11:00pm), and 3rd (10:30pm-7:30am). The 3rd shift is set to open soon, with training provided on 1st or 2nd shift in the interim.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
