Are you a Pastry Sous Chef looking to excel in your role?

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Pastry Sous Chef with experience comfortable in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant environment. The Pasty Sous Chef will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the pastry department and actively participate in pastry production. Responsible include:

  • Production: Overseeing pastry production for events and creating recipes and costing for new menu items 
  • Management: Assisting with production scheduling, inventory management, and team leadership 
  • Mentoring: Providing guidance, training, and support to junior pastry staff 
  • Quality control: Ensuring food quality and safety 
  • Organization: Maintaining the organization of the kitchen facilities 

Requirements:

·      5 plus years’ experience in kitchen leadership in a moderate to high volume environment

·      Creative and detail oriented

·      Experience in menu development
