Job Opportunity: Athletic Trainer in Potomac, MD

We are seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to provide essential support for students in grades 5th-12th. This position is perfect for someone passionate about working with young athletes and ensuring their safety and well-being during practices.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Mid-December (TBD)
  • Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week
  • Grade Levels: 5th - 12th

Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate care for injuries during practice.
  • Assess injuries and determine the need for further medical attention.
  • Assist with injury rehabilitation and guide recovery exercises.
  • Communicate with coaches and parents regarding athlete injuries and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate injury records and ensure first aid kits are fully stocked.
  • Monitor and manage concussion protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Athletic Trainer license required
