We’re currently searching for an experienced Internal Sales professional to join our team. This position will report to the Director of Internal Sales and is an on-site position in our office in Bethesda, Maryland.



Qualifications:

  • Must live in the D.C. Metro area and be able to work onsite in Bethesda, MD.
  • Must have Series 65 or 66 or willing to obtain Series 65 within 3 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years in mutual fund/separate account/annuity wholesaling space.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience with mutual funds and separate accounts.
  • Self-driven: able to manage territory and operate autonomously.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.



Responsibilities:

  • Represent all products distributed and marketed by Potomac within the territory.
  • Drive sales by developing, maintaining, and deepening relationships with new and existing advisors. Influence advisor choices within a consultative sales process.
  • Partner with an external wholesaler to develop a business plan, manage the territory, and drive regional sales goals and objectives.
  • Identify advisor needs and provide investment and business solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners (e.g., marketing, senior leaders, field leaders).
  • Manage administrative responsibilities according to company policies including, travel and expenses, CRM updates, calendar and schedules, conference call participation, email retention, continuing education, and other requirements.
