Job Title: Staff Accountant

Overview:

As a growing and innovative global manufacturing group, we are looking for a meticulous and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team In this role, you'll play an essential part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting month-end closing, and driving process improvements. Location: Naperville, IL 60540

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in the month-end close process by preparing accurate journal entries and performing thorough account reconciliations.

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a timely basis, investigating and resolving outstanding items each month.

  • Participate in the implementation and integration of our ERP system to streamline our financial operations.

  • Manage key accounting functions, including Accounts Payable and Receivable, credit policies, fixed assets, and general ledger transactions, ensuring our financial records are always up to date.

  • Support the completion of month, quarter, and year-end closing requirements, including journal entries and general account analysis.

  • Contribute to special projects and assignments as directed by management to drive improvements and efficiencies across the department.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed, with opportunities to make a real impact on the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field

  • At least 2 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally with exposure to manufacturing environments.

  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities, with a talent for handling detail-oriented tasks and reviewing financial documents with precision.

  • Dependable, trustworthy, and committed to managing sensitive information professionally.

  • Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with colleagues at all levels, including executive team members.

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a preferred qualification
