As a School Special Education Teacher, you'll work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to create individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs. Your creativity and dedication will help shape a positive and impactful educational experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure student success
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Monitor and report on student progress

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for working with students with special needs
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic educational setting
