Exciting Opportunity: Part Time School Psychologist in Argyle, TX for the 2024-2025 School Year

Are you a passionate School Psychologist looking to make a difference? ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and positively impact students in the Denton area.

Position: School Psychologist
Location: Argyle, TX
Employment Type: Part-Time, Contract

Key Details:

  • Schedule: 2 to 2.5 days per week
  • Hours per Day: 7.5 hours
  • Contract Dates: September 1, 2024 May 21, 2025
  • Student Age Range: PK - 5th Grade, 7th - 8th Grade
  • Types of Disabilities: ED, OHI, ID, AU
  • Schools Covered: 2
  • Virtual Capabilities: Not available

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative psychological services
  • Oversee and monitor behavior intervention plans
  • Attend IEP (ARD Committee) meetings for students needing or receiving psychological services
  • Conduct minimal evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Texas state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate approach to supporting student well-being
  • Experience preferred, but new graduates may be considered
