School Psychologist Needed for the 2024/2025 School Year

Location: Burrillville, RI

Start Date: August 26, 2024
End Date: June 6, 2025
Number of Openings: 1

Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM - 2:00 PM
Pay: $52-58per hour; based on relevant experience

Caseload: Focus on Student Support Team (SST) meetings, evaluations, assessments, and IEP meetings. If a part-time candidate is selected, some of the caseload will be shared with others.
Caseload Age: Middle School
Number of School Sites: 1
Pay: $53-58 per hour; Based on Experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Burrillville. This role is essential in supporting the mental health and educational needs of our middle school students.

General Duties:

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs.
  • Utilize data-based decision-making to inform interventions and instructional practices.
  • Provide intervention and instruction tailored to student needs.
  • Engage in research and programming to enhance educational outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Rhode Island School Psychologist certification.
  • Proven experience working in a school setting, particularly with middle school students.
  • Strong understanding of psychological principles and educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
