Job Description

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic assembly operations including wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing by reading drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform repetitive assembly of electronic platforms.
  • Work from hard copy and electronic assembly documentation and instructions.
  • Follow established sequencing of hardware and wiring installations using predefined tools and fixtures.
  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies within a defined time frame.
  • Work from established product bill of materials and assembly drawings of products currently manufactured.
Essential Skills
  • Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hardcopy drawings and work instructions.
  • Follow standardized methods of work to accomplish an established set of assembly tasks.
  • Use of hand tools and soldering knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to read a ruler/tape measure.
  • Basic ability to read and write.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 1 year of small parts assembly experience.
  • Basic computer literacy (a plus, but not necessary).
  • Experience using hand tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Soldering experience.

Well-lit, temperature-controlled environment with a flexible dress code. Standard shift is from 7:30am to 4pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00
