Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pack Assembler to join our team at East Penn Manufacturing, a leading battery manufacturer. This first-shift position is responsible for performing assembly work of various electronic components, wire harness assemblies, and pack building.

About the Job

This role pays an estimated $19.87 per hour in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with competitive compensation and excellent benefits offered by Navitas/East Penn. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and capability to read and follow process documentation/build assembly prints/drawings, as well as familiarity with basic facility equipment (soldering equipment, test equipment, crimping tools, and other hardware assembly tools).

Responsibilities
  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
  • Assembly of Lithium battery packs, wire harness assembly, and various other cable assembly work
  • Pulling material kits, counting parts, and issuing materials to jobs
  • Accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of work performed
  • Train co-workers and assist when problems arise
  • Maintain clean and organized workstation (daily 5S)
  • Practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions to supervisor
  • Ensure OSHA and Safety Compliance on Production floor
  • Meet team targets and key performance indicators
Qualifications
  • High school or GED degree
  • Previous assembly experience preferred
