DIRECT PLACEMENT R&D Analytical Chemist III

The successful candidate will effectively contribute solid technical knowledge to a variety of projects within the relevant subject area with minimal assistance and display technical understanding of related subject areas. You will implement strategies, which are non-routine within areas of expertise to address specific technical requirements of a project. You will display a solid understanding of theories/practices used by other fields outside the primary area of expertise, focus on innovation, process improvement, and/or operational excellence initiatives. You will conduct research and design strategies to achieve the technical vision for a new or improved product/process/method or to prove a new theory, applying a solid understanding of theories/practices including those from other fields outside the primary area of expertise. Additionally, you will direct other analytical chemists in the interpretation of project results.
Hard Skills- ICP-MS - Must Have 5+ years of Experience
- Analytical instruments: ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC, AA, UHPLC/HPLC, GC, UV
- Troubleshooting ICP-MS and other analytical instruments - 5+ Years
- Supply technical knowledge to a variety of projects with minimal assistance
- Act as a study director, design and implement method development, validation, and transfer studies
- Collaborate with other functions such as project management, regulatory, extractables, manufacturing, and quality
- Conduct analytical problem-solving efforts
- Participate in investigations for atypical or out-of-specification/out-of-trend results
- Create, update, and maintain equipment and analytical procedures
- Appropriately prioritize assignments to meet project schedules
- Transfer analytical methods to manufacturing plants, CRO, and other R&D centers
- Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
- Champion internal initiatives that advance operational excellence
- Implement new or improved techniques and procedures; write and implement SOPs
- Share research outcomes, methodology, and cycle-time reduction methods with team members and other personnel
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant Quality System Regulations and other regulatory requirements
