Staff R&D Engineer - Class III Cardiovascular Nitinol Implantables


Well-funded cardiovascular medical device company is looking for seasoned R&D Nitinol Implant Design Engineer. Must have strong medical device design and development skills, and materials expertise with Nitinol devices (Stents, Structural Heart Implants, or other Nitinol components)


Full-Time Permanent position, full benefits

Competitive Salary based on experience at Staff Engineer level


This position will report to a Director R&D, and be part of a 10-person R&D team to develop next-gen implantable devices (Design, Prototype, Test, Documentation, Design V&V).


Requirements:

  • Minimum BS or MS Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 6-8+ years hands-on engineering experience with Nitinol Implants or other Nitinol components
  • Must Have: Medical Device experience
  • SolidWorks Design Skills
  • FEA - Failure Effects Analysis
  • Durability Testing set-ups


Local Candidates Preferred, however some relocation assistance may be offered for well-qualified candidates
