Our client in the North Atlanta area is seeking a Sr. Accountant for a Contract opportunity. This role will play a crucial part in managing and processing revenue transactions, while also supporting various broader accounting functions.

This is a full on-site position. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required.

Responsibilities:

· Perform bank, account, and balance sheet reconciliations for high-volume financial transactions across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

· Manage intercompany reconciliations for 150+ accounts, clearing liabilities, and ensuring alignment with balance sheet requirements.

· Prepare, book, and post journal entries using pre-set templates, including operational expenses (OpEx) and intercompany transactions.

· Analyze and resolve variances identified during reconciliations.

· Leverage advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas) to streamline processes and handle large datasets.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required

· 3+ years of experience in GL reconciliations, month-end close processes, and financial analysis.

· Experience managing high-volume transactions across 140+ locations with high attention to detail.

· Expert in multi-unit/multi-entity accounting, including reconciling multiple bank accounts and managing intercompany transactions.

· This person must be familiar with using and ERP System as they are mostly automated.

· Experience with lease accounting and revenue recognition standards (e.g., IFRS 16, ASC 842, ASC 606) is highly desirable.

· Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
