Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Glen Burnie, Maryland. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, providing administrative support, customer service, leasing and reception across the organization. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all administrative assistant responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.


Responsibilities:

• Answering and directing phone calls to relevant staff

• Systematically filing important company documents

• Forwarding all correspondence, such as letters and packages, to staff members

• Scheduling appointments, meetings, and reservations as needed

• Receiving and sorting daily mail and deliveries, and managing outgoing mail

• Develop and maintain a filing system to ensure all documents are properly stored and easily accessible

• Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.

• Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, checks etc.

• Assist in making travel arrangements and booking venues for conferences and events

• Perform other office duties as assigned

• Proficiency in using Yardi software for managing real estate activities

• Experience in scanning documents, ensuring accuracy and legibility

• Familiarity with various scanning equipment and their operation

• Demonstrable skills in document scanning and digitization

• Previous experience as a leasing consultant would be advantageous

• Excellent filing skills, with the ability to maintain organized and accessible records

• Proficient in data entry tasks, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency

• Prior experience in a non-profit organization will be considered as a plus

Requires valid driver's license
