Production Supervisor

Description
Works in compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
Ensure the safety of all assigned employees through training and enforcement of all company safety guidelines.
Ensure 5S, Housekeeping and Workplace Organization meet NSG Standards.
Develop, Plan and Coordinate production employee activities related to producing the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost using the PDCA approach.
Manage product quality to meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications.
Develops both internal and external programs to meet or exceed customer expectations through continually improving products, processes and services.
Ensure all production KPI’s meet or exceed budgeted levels for safety; quality, thruput, downtime, and yield.
Facilitate training for all supervised employees to understand the requirements for successfully performing their job function.
Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to ensure matters of mutual concern are addressed and resolved.
Maintain a union free environment.
Support the cascade of Briefing and Communication requirements.
Ensure employees are provided appropriate guidance, counseling, or recognition on matters related to job performance.
Direct and coordinate continuous improvement activities utilizing data driven problem solving techniques.
Optimize material flow and storage of all direct and indirect materials throughout the work cells.
Actively participate in the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience successfully managing people in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to management.
Strong in results oriented, adaptable, standards driven, developing, influential and informative competencies.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize objectives and targets to meet deadlines.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00
