Job Description

We have two open positions available. The first is for a Diamond Turning Machine Operator on the 1st shift, and the second is for a Metrology Technician on the 2nd shift.

**1st Shift: Diamond Turning Machine Operator**

- Flexible hours: 8am-5pm or 7am-3pm

- Pay rate: $19-$22/hr

- Responsibilities include performing setups on CNC diamond turning machines, aligning parts of the machine, running and inspecting parts repeatedly, loading and unloading the machine, following detailed work instructions, performing detailed documentation in a SharePoint document, assisting in other parts of the clean room lab, and utilizing calipers, micrometers, and gauges for measurement. Training will be provided.

**2nd Shift: Metrology Technician**

- Hours: 3:00pm-11:00pm

- Pay rate: $19-$22/hr

- Responsibilities include performing measurements of optical lenses, working with scientists to report data, gathering data, naming files, moving data between servers, performing data entry, operating a CMM machine, and conducting tests on a variety of products. The role requires high attention to detail and proficiency with computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and cloud platforms.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Macedonia, Ohio.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean room lab environment with only three other employees. The temperature remains a constant 68 degrees, but it can feel cold due to the constant airflow to keep the machines calibrated properly. The space is very well-lit for quality inspection, and you can wear sweatshirts and listen to music. No steel toe boots are required.
