  • 10/9 - 8:00am - 7:00pm
  • 10/10 - 2:00pm - 7:00pm
  • 10/11 - 8:00am - 7:00pm
  • 10/12 - 9:00am - 5:00pm

Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Retail Pharmacist to become part of our team in Tuckahoe, NY. This role involves delivering top-notch pharmaceutical services in a low-volume setting, managing around 30-50 prescriptions daily. You will be collaborating with one pharmacy technician to ensure efficient pharmacy operations and high-quality patient care.

Core Duties:

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards related to drug evaluation, selection, procurement, and distribution.
  • Offer professional consultation and counseling to patients.
  • Accurately interpret and process physician medication orders.
  • Oversee and assist pharmacy technicians during your shift.
  • Carry out routine retail pharmacy tasks, including opening and closing the pharmacy.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Pharmacist license in New York State.
  • Familiarity with Rx30 software is a plus but not mandatory.
