Job Title: Project Coordinator – Transportation Industry
Location: Burlington, NC
Pay Rate: $30/hour - $35/hour
We are seeking a Project Coordinator for a dynamic transportation company based in Burlington, NC. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in project coordination, with an emphasis on invoices, billing, and change orders. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring project timelines and financials stay on track.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the administration and coordination of construction projects from start to finish.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.
Prepare and process AIA billing applications and ensure timely submissions.
Track project budgets, expenditures, and financial reports to assist project managers with cost control.
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain accurate records of project progress and generate reports as needed for management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in project coordination, ideally within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of AIA billing processes and procedures is preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also considered.
