Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Punch Press Operator

Job Description

Perform preventative maintenance as required. Read part design drawings, review work order instructions, and perform manufacturing operations accordingly. Set up, assemble, install, and align dies in press according to specifications. Start press and observe operation to detect misalignment or malfunction. Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications; make adjustments to set-up as necessary to pass first-piece inspection. Perform in-process inspection to the AQL required. Enter job information into computer system, including time entries, part counts, scrap counts, and comments as necessary. Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
