Benefits Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading company in Bloomfield, CT to find a talented Benefits Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team on a permanent/direct hire basis, offering a blend of in-office and remote work.
Job Description: As a Benefits Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering the company's benefits programs. This position will focus primarily on benefits functions, with some compensation components integrated. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in benefits management and a strong understanding of compensation practices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and compensation.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to develop and implement benefits strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible benefits for employees.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits enrollment, claims, and other inquiries.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and performance management systems.
- Analyze compensation data and market trends to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in benefits management, with some exposure to compensation practices.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and compensation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.
Hours:
- 9:00am-5:00pm
- Monday through Friday
