Job Title: Senior Accountant – Shared Services

Location: Houston, TX (on-site)

Employment Type: 6-Month Temporary Position (Potential for Full-Time)

Pay Rate: $40.00/hr. - $43.00/hr.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles beyond basic A/P and A/R tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive general ledger accounting and analysis.

  • Work independently and autonomously, aligning with our core accounting practices.

  • Utilize ERP systems such as Oracle or other accounting software.

  • Demonstrate strong general accounting skills, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly in a lean, fast-paced environment.

  • Manage multiple tasks and address various accounting items efficiently.

  • Supporting US and Canada

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Self-sufficient and able to work without constant supervision once trained.

  • Proactive in taking notes, referring to documentation, and asking questions.

  • Capable of multitasking and handling a dynamic workload.

  • Strong grasp of accounting concepts, beyond routine A/P and A/R duties.
