Behavior Technician

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation: $28 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavioral support to Special Educationstudents in various educational settings.
• Monitor and record data on student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive behavior and student success.
• Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students and their personal needs, including assisting with toileting, feeding, or diapering if necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience working with students with special needs in a school settingrequired.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in a related field preferred).
• Active CPI (Crisis Prevention & Intervention) certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to the growth and development of students.
• Patience and an optimistic attitude towards helpings students.
• Must have at least two professional references.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
