Behavior Technician/School Paraprofessional

Employment Type:Contract
Compensation: $28 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral support to students in Special Education across various classroom and school environments.
• Record and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to encourage positive behavioral outcomes and academic success.
• Contribute to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Provide personal care support to students as needed, including assistance with toileting, feeding, or diapering.

Required Qualifications:

• At least one year of hands-on experience working with children with special needs in a school-based setting.
• High school diploma or GED (a degree in a related field is highly valued).
• CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Dedication to helping students achieve their fullest potential.
• Patience and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
• Two verifiable professional references.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
