Job Description

Seeking TIG Welders on the 1st Shift. The role involves completing welding of prefabricated assemblies, setting up welding machines for any process or material thickness without assistance, and operating a variety of fabrication equipment. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding complex assemblies from blueprints and interpreting blueprints accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Complete welding of prefabricated assemblies.
  • Set up welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness.
  • Operate a variety of fabrication equipment such as plate rollers, saws, pipe rollers, and drill presses.
  • Fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints.
  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding processes.
  • Ability to operate various fabrication equipment (plate roller, saw, pipe roller, drill press, etc.).
  • Experience in fabricating complex assemblies.
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience.
  • Experience working with aluminum and stainless steel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in stainless steel welding.
  • Fitting and fabrication skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00
