Job Description

As a Press Brake Operator, you will operate press brake machines, set up and change tooling, read and interpret blueprints and schematics, use a CNC controller to input information and load programs, perform quality checks on parts, and conduct light preventive maintenance and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake machine
• Set up and change tooling
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper setup
• Use a CNC controller to input information and load programs
• Perform quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Conduct light preventive maintenance and calibration

Essential Skills

• At least 2-3 years of machine operating experience (Press Brake or CNC preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude for tooling setups and changeovers
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Proficiency in performing quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges

• Ability to train and learn new skills
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced work environment
• Constructive and effective interaction with all plant employees
• Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance

Work Environment

The facility is non-climate controlled but very clean, with mostly metal fabrication equipment including presses and weld areas. The work environment is fast-paced and non-automotive.
