Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines, setting up and changing tooling, reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, using CNC controllers to input information and load programs, performing quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges, and conducting light maintenance and calibration.

Responsibilities
  • Operate press brake machine
  • Set up and change tooling
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper set up
  • Use a CNC controller to input information and load programs
  • Perform quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Perform light preventive maintenance and calibration tasks
Essential Skills
  • At least 2-3 years of machine operating experience (Press Brake or CNC preferred)
  • Mechanical aptitude for tooling setups and changeovers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
  • Proficiency in performing quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced work environment
  • Constructive and effective interaction with all plant employees in a team environment
  • Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance
