Position Type:

• Full-Time, Benefitted
• Anticipated Schedule: 40 hours/week with variable hours to cover pharmacy operating times

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Operations:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency and pliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and implement strategies to optimize stock and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with suppliers and wholesalers for medication orders and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Understand and ply with the federal 340B program requirements.

Medication Dispensing/Patient Care:

• Accurately interpret and dispense medications, ensuring pliance with all applicable laws.
• Conduct regular medication reviews and maintain up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality.
• Administer immunizations per defined protocols and provide personalized consultations to patients and their families.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve prescription and medication-related issues professionally.

Training and Education:

• Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and students as necessary.
• Stay updated on licensure and educational requirements.

munity Engagement:

• Represent the pharmacy at munity outreach events and educational programs.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders to promote pharmacy services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in Utah.
• Licensure to dispense controlled substances in Utah.
• Excellent munication, human relations, and puter skills (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant pharmacy software).
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to learn about the financial aspects of pharmacy operations.

Preferred:

• Three or more years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• APhA Immunization Certification.
• Prior pharmacy management experience.
