Pharmacist In Charge Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist In Charge to lead our retail pharmacy team at Moab Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee pharmacy operations, including record keeping, dispensing, and labeling of medications
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to implement and update policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership and training to pharmacy staff
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Utah
  • Licensure to dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
