Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client is looking for a Quality Control Inspector The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality standards by inspecting incoming materials, finished products, recording quality results and providing data entry. Additionally, the candidate will have experience with quality control using ISO-9000 and IPC-610 and J-STD-001 (electrical) standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality control incoming inspection on all items used in manufacturing process, with primary emphasis on custom fabricated sheet metal parts and off the shelf electrical components.
• Maintain equipment Calibration system and records
• Perform limited shelf-life items audits
• Evaluate ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) to determine impact on materials when performing inspections
• Flexibility to work on multiple assignments
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
• Provide support to all phases of assembly and test areas as needed for guidance on Quality related issues

• Perform In-Process Inspections as needed in the assembly area
• Perform Final Inspection on outgoing material shipments
• Document nonconforming material, documentation, and processes clearly and accurately

Qualifications:
• Familiarity with a standardized Quality Management system (ISO 9000 etc.)
• Working knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards
• Proficiency in the use of computers, including working knowledge of Adobe, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to determine quality criteria
• Ability to comprehend numbers on drawings, work orders, process sheets, and work instructions
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• High School Degree or equivalent
