Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of a Loan Administrator to join our team in the banking industry located in Savannah, Georgia. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Loan Administrator, you will primarily be involved in processing various types of loans, handling credit life and disability on loans, and managing delinquent accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and overseeing various types of loans including Auto Loans, Mortgages, Home Equity, and Construction Loans.
• Maintaining accurate records of customer credit applications and loan processes.
• Utilizing various software systems such as Accounting Software Systems, Accurint, Automated Underwriting System, Calyx, and CRM for efficient loan administration.
• Balancing credit life and disability on loans, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Handling collections duties, including the management of delinquent accounts, repossessions, write-offs, and garnishments.
• Performing loan origination and underwriting tasks, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Managing customer inquiries, providing timely and appropriate solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with lending procedures and policies through regular auditing.
• Utilizing knowledge in Commercial Lending and Consumer Loans for effective loan administration.
• Monitoring customer accounts regularly and taking appropriate action when necessary.• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in loan administration, preferably within the banking industry.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Accurint.
• Familiarity with Automated Underwriting System and Calyx.
• Experience with CRM and About Time software.
• Knowledge of Appraisals, Auditing, and Closing Processes.
• Experience in Commercial Lending, including Auto Loans, Consumer Loans, Conventional Loans, and Construction Loans.
• Familiarity with different types of loans such as Equity Loans, FHA Loans, Home Equity Loans, and Purchase Loans.
• Proven experience in Loan Origination, Loan Administration, and Loan Underwriting.
• Skills in Mortgage Loan Underwriting and Mortgage Loan Origination.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current banking regulations and laws.
