Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH is partnering with a manufacturing company that is searching for a temporary Senior Accountant to assist with some year-end work. This role involves heavy reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team to analyze financial data, prepare financial statements, and support audit preparation. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will be hybrid after training. The manager anticipates needing this individual for the next three months. The office is located in Kirkland, WA.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and support pricing decisions.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors.
  • Conduct financial analysis for decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
