Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Greenville, DE
Soliant Health is collaborating with a school district in Greenville, DE, and seeking dedicated applicants for a contract position for this upcoming school year.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Delaware SLP license
- Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations
Description of Duties:
- Develop and implement speech services aligned with student IEPs, state curriculum, or common core standards.
- Provide direct individual and/or group therapy sessions.
- Supervise 1-2 Speech and Language Assistants clinically.
- Administer speech and language evaluations as needed.
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings.
- Conduct and lead annual review meetings for students receiving speech/language services.
- Collaborate with teachers and other therapeutic staff to provide interdisciplinary programming.
- Consult with classroom staff to support the implementation of student goals.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain data on student progress.
- Conduct evaluations necessary for quarterly progress reports, annual assessments, and reevaluations.
- Plan daily schedule to meet direct service minutes and utilize indirect time effectively according to district guidelines.
- Facilitate ongoing communication with parents and encourage family involvement.
- Propose and implement interventions or supports related to speech and language needs, including areas like feeding or AAC use, as appropriate.
Applicants will be considered for assignment based on district needs, and Soliant will facilitate direct interviews with administrators to discuss current openings.
