HR Specialist

Robert Half HR Solutions is assisting a client near Decatur, GA with identifying talent for a Contract Training Specialist. This role is initially onsite 5 days per week with the opportunity to work from home on Fridays once acclimated. Responsibilities include:

• Conducts New Hire Orientation one day per week, typically on Mondays
• Presents training courses
• Oversees training program enrollment and tracks progress to program completion
• Coordinates required training for employees
• Tracks required training and renewal due dates 
• Coordinates employee recognition programs

This role is potential contract to permanent hire for a proven performer and based on business needs. Excellent organizational & communication skills, attention to details, along with an outgoing personality will make the person successful in the role. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field and one (1) year of professional human resource experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of progressively responsible human resource experience. 

·      Proficiency designing and presenting materials using multimedia applications

·      Knowledge of adult learning concepts

·      Creative problem solving skills

·      Effective coaching, counseling, and communication skills

·      Knowledge of principles of Employee Performance review systems.

·      Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates

·      Ability to convey technical information to others
