Position: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position in Fayetteville, NC. This role will involve working with an elementary and middle school caseload, and the position is set to run through May 23, 2025. The SLPA will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing therapy plans for students
- Provide direct support to students in elementary and middle school settings
- Monitor and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other team members to develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide documentation of student progress
Requirements:
- Active NC State License (required)
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
