CONTENT DESCRIPTION: As a Leasing Agent in Carson City, NV , you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants throughout the leasing process, from initial inquiries to lease signing. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and customer service mindset will be essential to your success in this role. If you meet these qualifications, reply today Duties/Responsibilities Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents. Provides potential tenants with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person promptly and professionally Consults with prospective tenants to identify requirements and budgets, then matches these needs with available properties. Ensures available and model apartments are fresh and tidy. Conducts background and credit checks and verifies other references as directed by Leasing Manager. Prepares leases for review and approval; obtains signatures from management and tenants. Coordinates move-in dates, materials, and processes. Prepares move-in materials. Creates, develops, and maintains a wait list as needed. Tours property to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair. Enters work orders around community as needed. Manages use of shared facilities such as laundry facilities, and meeting or gathering spaces. Assists with recordkeeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required. Creates, develops, and maintains a list of promotions and discounts from market competitors. Helps develop and implement marketing strategies to attract renters. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong sales and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented and organized. Ability to successfully resolve conflict. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of multi-family experience required. Multi-site experienced preferred. Knowledge of RealPage; Yardi; OR industry PMS system preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and standing and walking, giving tours, and meeting with potential tenants. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times. Must be able to traverse a variety of properties with stairs and in a variety of weather. Must be able to work Saturdays. The schedule will include Saturdays and a preference of 4 additional days during the week.
