We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a meticulous Payroll Clerk. MUST HAVE experience with Paychex. 12-20 hours per week. This role caters to an individual skilled in managing payroll operations and assisting with accounting functions within the industry. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be focused on maintaining precise records, processing payroll data, and resolving queries related to payroll.


Responsibilities:


• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of payroll data.

• Utilize accounting software systems for payroll processing and management.

• Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

• Execute accounts payable (AP) duties along with other accounting functions.

• Utilize software such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, and About Time, for efficient payroll processing.

• Perform auditing tasks related to payroll and accounting.

• Manage benefit functions and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Utilize Paychex and Paychex Payroll for all payroll-related tasks.

• Ensure accurate customer credit records and perform necessary actions.

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
• Working knowledge of Ceridian
• Ability to use Dayforce
• Experience with About Time software
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Understanding of Benefit Functions
• Proficiency in using Paychex
• Ability to use Paychex Payroll
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
