Job DescriptionJob Description HVAC Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking HVAC/R Support Technicians to provide top-tier support for Refrigeration and HVAC products. This position requires technical knowledge in HVAC and Refrigeration Systems and excellent customer service skills. The role involves supporting field service technicians, monitoring field products to ensure they are working correctly, performing proactive/preventative maintenance, and identifying and troubleshooting present issues. The position requires travel to customer sites (20-40% of the time) across the United States. Travel, lodging, and per diem will be covered. Technicians must maintain detailed records of support interactions.

Hard Skills
  • EPA Certification and/or HVAC/R certification
  • Comprehensive understanding of refrigeration cycles (evaporation, compression, condensation, and expansion)
  • Familiarity with system components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and refrigerants)
  • Understanding of HVAC principles (air conditioning, heating systems, ventilation)
  • Knowledge of refrigerants (R-410A, R-134A, R-404A) and refrigerant safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret system schematics and electrical wiring diagrams
Soft Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain detailed records

$60,000 - $95,000 a year
